Expansive Syroco 1960’s set! Isn’t she glorious! Syroco was the common name for the Syracuse Ornamental Company, which specialized in creating decor and trim out of molded wood pulp. Founded in 1890, it was run by the same family into the 1960s. The original formula was altered in the 1930s to add in natural polymers to the wood pulp, and in the 1960s they began using plastics.
